I’m at a lost at why the CIA would declass it’s past rogue operations and leave it off at the 70s. I and many others would be facinsated to learned exactly how Valerie Plame and her rogue buddies attempted to undermine the country in a time of war.
In any case this is mind boggling. Yes, I find it fascinating that RFK bugged journalists, but to release the “how and when” now in what Hayden refers to as “openness” strikes me as extremely stupid and pointless.
UPDATE: Seems I’m not alone.
