I knew a vet who landed with the 29th Division on June 6. I can never express how much I admired him, although he didn't like to tell war stories. Didn't have to. Just saying "I landed at Normandy," was enough. Those guys didn't talk much about their experience. They just did what they were asked to do. Thank God they did. Mac–
