As you know our soldiers were ambushed yesterday and three are missing. Now word of who may have them.
“Thousands of U.S. soldiers searched Sunday for three Americans who were missing after their patrol came under attack in an explosion that killed four other American soldiers and an Iraqi army translator. The Islamic State in Iraq, an al-Qaida front group, said it had captured several soldiers in the attack, but offered no proof to back up its claim, posted on an Islamic Web site.”
Of course we have no idea of the veracity of the claim, yet you’ll remember the torture and killing of Pfc. Thomas Tucker and Pfc. Kristian Menchaca last year. It’s never a good thing when soliders are MIA and as each day goes by the chances of finding them in good health and spirits grow grimmer. But you never know, let’s keep bugging the big guy upstairs for their safe return.
