In a time when we could use a little backbone, Frm House Majority Leader Tom Delay reminds us that there are still those who will call things the way they are.
“Democratic leaders are acting like traitors by opposing the Iraq war, and President Bush must answer with a toughened stance, former U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay said Monday.
U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “are getting very, very close to treason,” DeLay said in a meeting with the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.“We have people dying,” he said. “Not just our soldiers, but innocent citizens dying in Iraq and Afghanistan at the hands of these evil people, and you have your elected leaders making these kinds of statements that embolden the enemy. It’s unbelievable.”
Reid said yesterday the Democratic-controlled Congress would push legislation within days requiring the withdrawal of U.S. combat troops from Iraq beginning Oct. 1, with a goal of completing the pullout six months later. He said Bush is in “a state of denial” over the war.”
I would submit that Reid and Pelosi, Murtha and other democrats - along with other RINOs have already committed treason.
Harry Reid is a pimple on Lady Liberty’s ass, and Pelosi isn’t far from that description herself. All in all throughout the last three years these malcontents have shown no shame in shaming themselves with their antics designed to do nothing else but to thwart US efforts in the Global War on Terror.
I stand with Tom and others who enjoin the President to stand tough against such people and to call them who they are, truly traitors of the United States of America and a disgrace to our troops.

1I see the need for an online petition, to call for the charges of treason to be leveled upon reid, pelosi and murtha. I’d sign that in a heartbeat. It’s time the Republicans fought back.

2I’ll sign it too. I’ve tried everything else…no one in Washington is listening. Dick Cheney is the only one standing up to Reid today. And he is catching hell for it from the Dems. I STAND WITH DICK CHENEY!!
Harry Reid said today that he doesn’t have to respond to Cheney’s remarks because he doesn’t respond to someone with a 9 percent approval rating! What a cowardly POS you are Reid! You are a coward and a TRAITOR. PERIOD!!!

5The problem with Tom DeLay is that he buys votes just like Pelosi did with the defense pork bill….

8So Mac…do you know where there is a petition we can sign? I swear to God I’ll do it! I know lots of others who are tired of this crap as well. Better yet a billboard size ad somewhere conspicuous…I know, I know…I’m dreaming. Hmmm. Am I? With the NY Times the next best thing to Pravda, what are the chances of getting the media on our side?
HARRY REID MUST GO! PELOSI TOO!

10Yes Mac……I miss Tom DeLay.
As a spine counter, I appreciated him the entire time. He tried. Once again, President Bush made me proud when he stood with him. I do not put purism over suicide. I want fighters, and will take DeLay, Guiliani and Kerik in my foxhole.
President Bush would head my list and his attack dog Cheney is my dream come true. Senators like Inhofe and Reps like Hunter are appreciated. I appreciate the ones that at least stood behind Cheney yesterday.
Now I am ready to see our Republican Congress come out and call NAMES. It is what they should have been doing from the beginning. The war has been waged from their playpen by their playmates and they allowed it to happen from 2001. ENUFF (as Mac says). Their playmates having been supplying their MSM Army with fresh battle plans daily. The MSM took them out of their seats and the public hears the propaganda delivered by the whining Dianne Sawyers each morning with coffee. Their bullets are free of charge. Give me another Tom DeLay.
