The left is having a field day dredging up fairy tales about Republicans knew about conditions at Walter Reed.

Hell even Cowardly Murtha is beating the drum.

But I have a question. If Murtha is so fired up why didn’t he say something when he was practically (by his words) lives there on weekly basis

You gonna tell me that he spent all those “weekly visits” to see those soldiers and never had a clue about what was going on?

Or perhaps it was beneath him to visit the severely wounded?

How about the rest of the Democrats? On many occasions – especially during last year’s midterms – they constantly bragged about visiting “our brave soldiers”. Are you going to tell me me that they really had no idea of what was going on?

Or were they just lying about ever being there?

Seems to be that since Walter Reed sits in a Democratically controlled district that at least one letter of complaint would have made it to a congressional office – at least one. Heck, “Congressional Inquiries” were as common as house flies during my stint in the Army.

You mean to tell me that one said anything until Dana Priest doned a hospital gown and went under cover? If you are gimme some of that stuff you’re smoking. I’m sure it would be facinating to find out if any of the soldiers there had ever contacted a congressional democrat about the situation. I’m sure it won’t be hard to find out.

Make no mistake, as a disabled veteran I’m as mad as hell about the conditions and I’m glad something is being done about it. But Democrats are again simply playing gotcha politics at the expense of soldier’s pain and frankly it’s getting freaking old.
