David Hicks is claiming that beatings went on at Guantanamo Bay.  This is yet another claim of torture.

Like most of the others, it probably is phonier than a three-dollar bill.  Torture has never been approved under U.S. policy.  Yet we have an outlet of the New York Times taking the story at face value.  Followed by human rights groups.

It should be noted that al-Qaeda training manuals instruct detainees to claim torture when none has occurred.  Yet these groups still take these folks at their word.  Why?
