Clarice Feldman of American Thinker speaks for a lot of us in her must read, “I call for Justice”.
I’m not quoting her here as I want you to read her article in full and in context. Additionally let me add some things. First, while Fitzgerald has “closed” his investigation with a wimper - considering who they (those behind him) were targeting, we have to say that this was a colossal (to over use the phrase) fizz.
Over the last few years an enormous amount of information has been gathered, yet not specifically referenced to the administration involvement, but that of Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame and the obvious effort they exerted to thwart the country in a time of war. At this time we know who they conspired with and more importantly who funded their efforts in the aftermath.
Additionally there will be in the coming weeks and months and specifically with the appeal of Libby more information about what really went on behind the scenes - specifically with two liberal media figures (one of which who couldn’t have possibly known the details without being involved in some way) and details about the “plan” to get Wilson’s story out which had been crafted long before it was fashionable.
Here’s the skinny of what really happened according to several sources with the knowledge of what went on behind the scenes. What occured here - culminating with the Libby trial - was the result of a pick move by the CIA. Follow along.
First, we know that Wilsons trip(s) to Africa and specifically with his second trip was a ruse to throw off the scent to an illegal uranium trade that was being brokered by the rogue elements of the CIA for which Plame was a principal (one of her duties was monitoring trade in uranium in Niger). This is why she moved so quickly to “suggest” her husband.
When Wilson’s “Gambit” didn’t pan out (generally because he couldn’t keep his mouth shut and also because he was fully discredited by the SSCI Report), he and his co-conspirators worked with cogent members of the MSM to entrap administration officials by “hinting” about Wilson’s trip via the VP office (another lie dusted by the Libby trial). In short they set up the “leak senerio”, to again, throw off the scent.
Of course predating this and actually related to this, is one Senator Rockefeller who visited Syria in 2002 to warn Iraq about what he felt to be a pending invasion. Besides obvious questions about his traitorism he had a far greater motive in attempting to stop the invasion and they have to do with the oldest motive in history - the same motive which drove the Wilson and the rest of their compadres.
As the Wilsons proceed with their Civil Trial I mused that perhaps it’s time for those who are fed up with this charade to perhaps sue the Wilsons for the damage they did to national security and continue to do. One thing is for sure the discovery process would be enlightening to say the least.
Again, the idea may be taking flight as we speak.

The trial has provided convincing evidence that there was no conspiracy to punish Mr. Wilson by leaking Ms. Plame’s identity — and no evidence that she was, in fact, covert.
Pls email me about the uranium deal because I have seen no proof of that nor any signs of any investigation into it. Thanks and thanks for the cite.

2Mac and Clarice,
Did you guys know that the jury guy (the one with the big mouth) is a neighbor of Tim Russert as well as a former journalist of the Wash Post and buddy of Woodward? I heard it on Rush Limbaugh’s radio show awhile ago. WTF??? What else does anyone know about this guy? He’s already talking book deal…and just how the hell did he get on the jury past Libby’s lawyer(s)? Don’t they do any research or vetting anymore?
This is a political Kangeroo Court and Libby got caught in between because Fitz refused to go after Armitage or the Wilsons. If this is allowed to stand, God help us!

3How long does it take to write a seven page article? Well, it seems that juror #9, Denis Collins, has that very thing up at Huffington Post this morning, the very day after the verdict was announced.
Anyone got a problem with that like I do? I would like to know if this article was planned PRIOR to the release of the verdict and Denis Collin’s press conference. He also stated on Larry King live last night that he was going to write a book. No surprise there but how long has this been in the works? Books on trials where the defendant was found innocent don’t sell (except for the O.J. trial).
Why am I smelling a big fat RAT here?

4My understanding from Rush who ref. very close to the case sources, that when it came to Collin’s they had used all their challenges. That’s how stacked this pool was. Clarice, can that be investigated as to how the pool was selected? Every day the stench gets worse.
