Democrats are in a quagmire. Note Harry Reid:
“WASHINGTON (CNN) — After months of heated rhetoric slamming President Bush’s Iraq policy, the Senate’s top Democrat moved into new terrain by declaring the Iraq war a worse blunder than Vietnam.
“This war is a serious situation. It involves the worst foreign policy mistake in the history of this country,” Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nevada, told CNN’s “Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer.”
“So we should take everything seriously. We find ourselves in a very deep hole and we need to find a way to dig out of it.”
Asked whether he considers it a worse blunder than Vietnam, Reid responded, “Yes.”
Democrats are now on full self-destruct mode as Reid tells us what is wrong with their party as a whole. That if it had not been for Vietnam (a war begun by a Democrat and escalated by a Democrat), they would have absolutely nothing to talk about when it comes to war – any war. Because to them every war we have been in since Vietnam has been Vietnam. Talk about stuck on stupid.
Reid and the rest of the antiwar left have been making this stupid comparison since Afghanistan. Yet it is by any measure a stupid comparison. Yet Reid can get some face time with CNN because he is a so-called Majority Leader of the Senate who – by the way – got his ass handed to him on Saturday. Which is why like the man child he is will say stupid things. Which brings me to the question of why should we listen to anyone who has the audacity to call our soldiers liars?

1Is it that they have no backbone? They just hate Bush to the extent that nothing else matters? They have joined AQ in the destruction of our country?
If JFK, etc were alive today, they wouldn’t believe this.

2You said it pmii!! As far as I’m concerned, “teddy”, “harry”, and their cohorts aren’t fit to lick his shoes! They never were!
This is why I am no longer a Democrat!
