Another poll, done over the weekend (when only democrats and independents are home) and with a predictable results.

Washington Post: More Americans Trust Congress Over Bush on Iraq, Poll finds.

Couple this with a delay in the posting of the methodology (until 5pm), and you wanna bet this is a heavily weighted (towards democrats) poll.

Thus a rewrite of the headline:

Washington Post: More (Democrat ) Americans Trust Congress Over Bush on Iraq, Poll finds.

Thus, the real story: “Democrats who didn’t vote for Bush, or like him, don’t trust him on Iraq”.

UPDATE: This is hilarious:

“This Washington Post-ABC News poll was conducted by telephone February 22-25, 2007, among a random national sample of 1082 adults, including an oversample of 86 black respondents. The results have a three-point error margin. Sampling, data collection and tabulation by TNS of Horsham, PA.”

Now, why a “over sample” of 86 black respondents. Well perhaps since they vote 80 percent Democratic of course. And of course since they’re too savy (or embarrassed) to reporter voter affiliation you can place this polls with the rest of the trash. On second thought even the trash has more veracity.
