Our Troops really get it and consider the MSM an enemy + the others we will not name here, but we all know who they are….so do the troops.

Thanks for sharing. For those of us who have an understanding of the US military it is refreshing to hear first hand what we all believe we know.

I don’t know much about Pam Hess and her writings for the UPI, but we need more reporters asking the same question she did and getting this out to the American Public.

Yes I remember that memo also. It is just so disconcerting that the dems keep skating away on all of these issues.

If we had been fortunate to have strong leadership in both houses when we were in the majority I believe much of this would have been exposed in its entirety and stopped. However, that was not the case and the DOJ is hog tied by the FBI, CIA and State.

My biggest concern now though is exactly what Mac alluded to in his original post. If we do not somehow impress on the people in this country the dangers we face, Iraq will look like a walk in the park. Do you see anyone but the President, Vice President and certain cabinet members who are willing to do that? Some courageous bloggers and a few commentators..most of the others, including our elected members of Congress are governing like dems…poll driven nonsense.

1) Pull the majority along as far as we can on issues that may lead to major new disclosures regarding improper or questionable conduct by administration officials. We are having some success in that regard.

For example, in addition to the President’s State of the Union speech, the chairman [Sen. Pat Roberts] has agreed to look at the activities of the office of the Secretary of Defense, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, as well as Secretary Bolton’s office at the State Department.

So…Rocky admits they want to (are) investigating the SOTU….and they got the FBI to investigate the Niger stuff. The two are directly related…I think Rocky’s fingerprints are all over the Special Investigation and we know that Fitzy is no bipartisan individual.

I note the following excerpt for consideration as to who/how the FBI began investigating and questioning Libby:

“B) Once we identify solid leads the majority does not want to pursue, we would attract more coverage and have greater credibility in that context than one in which we simply launch an independent investigation based on principled but vague notions regarding the use of intelligence.

In the meantime, even without a specifically authorized independent investigation, we continue to act independently when we encounter footdragging on the part of the majority. For example, the FBI Niger investigation was done solely at the request of the vice chairman. We have independently submitted written requests to the DOD and we are preparing further independent requests for information.”

Focus on the second to last line of the second paragraph.
