Chuck Hagel on MTP having a “Don’t question my patriotism” hissy fit:
“Hagel: I am not nor any member of Congress that I’m aware of Tim, is advocating defeat, that’s ridiculous and I’m offended that any responsible member of Congress or anyone else would even suggest such a thing‚ĶSen. Lieberman talks about his children and grandchildren, we all have children and grandchildren‚Äîhe doesn’t have a market on that nor do any of my colleagues. We’re all concerned about the future of this country‚Ķ”
Lefties think that this was a ‘bitchslap’ to Senator Joeseph Lieberman, who was also on the show. But of course Chucky, you are not advocating defeat, nay, nay.
But excuse me wasn’t it you that has advocated troop withdrawal (cut and run) since, well, the beginning of the war? Didn’t you say just last year:
“Things aren’t getting better; they’re getting worse. The White House is completely disconnected from reality,” he said. “It’s like they’re just making it up as they go along. The reality is, we’re losing in Iraq.”
We’re losing? Sounds almost “Ted Kennedy” like to me? But of course Mon Perdant, we are not advocating defeat, nay, nay. But then in the words of Bill Clinton, “It depends on what you mean by defeat”.
Words…..
How about we call Chucky who he is, a “Cut and Run Bitch”? Now that’s a slap!

1I can not understand how these senators who say we can not win can think that they are doing anything but encouraging the terrorists to fight harder. If that isn’t encouraging defeat, what is it doing?
I am offended that Sen Hagel still considers him
self a Republican. I wish more and more that Sen Lieberman would consider himself one.

2I am heartily ashamed that Senator Hagel and I are from the same state. He is a disgrace to his office and a damn poor excuse for a Republican!
Thanks Chucky…we’ll take it from here without your damn HELP!!

3May be Hagel should watch “24″, it could happen here, bombs set off in every major city in America, no problem. If they think we are weak, why not come here and prove how strong they are. They can have the world if they can take down the United States of America. Just watch Mr. Hagel!

4President Bush: Senator Hagel, how do you propose we win the war in Iraq?
Senator Hagel: Mr. President, we cannot win.
President Bush: Thank you, Senator Hagel. Since you are part of the problem, you are no longer part of the solution. You may be excused.
