Ann Althouse has a great post on “blogger burnout” and it’s worth noting because as she writes:
“Glenn Reynolds says he said that back in 2002. He’s talking about blogger burnout with Bob Wright on Bloggingheads.tv. The point is that the news is “fundamentally depressing,” and the assumption is that blogging requires you to keep up with the news more than you otherwise would.”
Ain’t it the truth. It ain’t easy watching Wolf Blitzer and the rest of the info clowns parade their propaganda. But then if not for bloggers such as I who would call them on their jive?
As she also noted ever blogger could say to have a certain readership and “theme”. I launched this blog back in 2005 just as the Plame Game was getting off the ground and it was the launch pad of sorts that set the hits above the norm for an obscure blog. As there are billions of blogs out there believe me I appreciate every one who takes the time to read this old fart’s mind spew about things and especially the comments (both good and bad).
Blogging is hard work, but rewarding. I count it an honor to be a part of this new media and especially the people I’ve had the privilege to blog with and correspond with over the short time I’ve been around.
Additionally I feel I have a mission of sorts to root out the BS and as the subtitle states, ask the MSM “Who you jiving with that kosmic debri?”
