The NY Times …..what can we say. All while a Grand Jury in Alexandria is continuing to meet the Times is still unclassifying the classified for it’s own selfish and agenda driven purposes.

This time a secret memo that Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld wrote just days before he stepped down.

The memo contains points for a change of tactic in Iraq, most of which are quite brilliant. A pity since they will likely be escliped by the farse of the so-called Baker Commission.

But what of the Ny Times? I am, as I’m sure my readers are, angry as hell as the apparent non-action of the DOJ in regards the Times blatant disclosure of national secrets which has not only compromised security, but has more than likely endangered our people in the field.

However, as I have said on many occassions there is an ongoing investigation with - according to a source with knowledge of the goings on - new evidence and referrals coming in every day. Remember, this isn’t the Bush administration, but the Department of Justice in coordination with the FBI.

The Times is feeling the heat as it attempted to bar the DOJ from looking into some of its reporters notes and files in case involving Islamic Charities. They were of course denied which opens the doors for the DOJ to subpoena other other reporter’s notes in other cases, which is even now in the process of taking place.

So for now I say, wait, and allow the Times to dig itself into a deeper hole that it’s already in.

UPDATE I: On the memo itself, aorthwhile read at Hot Air.
