John at Stop the ACLU has the latest on their war on Christianity where they are taking a school to task for distribution of Bibles. John says it well and correctly when he writes:
“As pointed out numerous times, the First Amendment doesn‚Äôt even contain the words seperation, church, or state. The concept, derived from an exchange of letters between Thomas Jefferson and the Baptist Association of Danbury, Connecticut was made precedent in 1947, in the case Everson v. Board of Education. Before this philosphy was adopted, by too many and wrongly in my opinion, I doubt many had ever even heard the phrase.”
It’s time this issue was settled once and for all and it will call for a specific opinion by the Supreme Court to define what the First Admendment says and doesn’t say. The founder are rolling in their graves as they would have never envisioned socialistic atheism’s attack on the founding religion of this nation.
Additionally the ACLU is again targeting Christmas (yeah the holiday with ‘Christ’ in the name), but Jay Sekulow and his group are taking them to task.
Enough is enough. Perhaps some Christian groups should begin to sue the ACLU for defamation. Better yet maybe it’s time to form a well funded Christian Anti-Defamation League to form and take on those who wish their demise.
