While the left is thumping their chests about their win on Tuesday, I will reinterate a few facts for the factually challenged.

1. The win wasn’t a “sesmic”, it was historically consistant with other two term Presidents. In fact in comparison the number of seats Democrats won was historically low.

2. No matter what the MSM says about the poll data the fact is that turnout was light (another historical normal) for the midterms.

3. No matter what Pelosi and Reid say, they are no going to be able to resist turning the next two years into investigation central throwing subpeonas and already debunked “Bush lied, people died” talk all over the airwaves. All that’s going to do is prove the point they have no agenda except revenge. They are going to pander to their nutroots base, which didn’t decide the election (it was the moderates and independents. They are not possessed with BDS and are not going to tolerate any witch hunts. This is going to produce a battle royal (we are seeing some of this already) between the blue dogs and the SF Pelosi kids. Not to mention the “Liebermann Factor”, don’t underestimate that for a second.

Word to the left, Clinton got impeached, let it go.

In some parts of the country their are indications already of “buyers remorse”, and this will quickly spread as the country begins to see what they wrought by voting “angry”. Like I said before, its like shopping when your’re hungry, you always buy more than you need and normally crap that is bad for you.

Which is why I say that the Democrat win on Tuesday was neither strange or lasting. Democrats haven’t led for twelve years, and that would make anyone rusty. But neither Pelosi or Reid have proved themselves to be anything else but political hacks, and devoid of real character.

This will be even more evident when they exibit a Blanco Style breakdown the next time a crisis hits.
