A return of the “Blue Dogs”

As I said before Democrats couldn’t win based on who they are – liberals – so they recruited candidates who except for the “D” next their name are basically conservatives in every part of their being. Make no mistake, there is going to be a clash coming when the two worlds come together in January and it’s going to be fun to watch.

Meanwhile these are the kinds of Democrats that Bush worked with so successfully in Texas while Governor and why he is looking for such “cooperation”. Except for the war, they basically see eye to eye with Bush on many issues. Pelosi – if she becomes speaker and that is a big MURTHA if – will not be able to get squat done unless she can caucus the Blue Dogs – most of whom despised the ideology she walks on.
