Geeze, what a hosing eh? Speaker Pelosi? Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid?

Yup just like the eighties….

Except that now the press will have no choice but to followup on real stories (still pending) of scandals on the left, and generally not give the free ride they’ve had so far. But it’s about to get REAL interesting.

First, It’s no secret that Pelosi doesn’t like Jane Harman, so kiss her (ugh) goodbye from the House Intelligence Committee, and say hello to her replacement……(drumroll)…..

Alcee Hastings! Now won’t that be interesting!

It’s also going to be fun watching the fireworks as all these newly elected conservative democrats meet the uber liberal leadership wing of the party.

This actually could be a good thing!

Oh, and did I mention that Murtha may challenge Pelosi for the Speaker job?

Put your seatbelt on!

UPDATE I: Dick Morris just told Mike Gallahger that Hillary will win the Presidency in 2008!

UPDATE II: The rumble begins. The uber left is beginning to wake up and smell the mocha, “What we didn’t elect liberals?”

I’m telling you, after the “gloat” the uber left is going to wake up to the fact that their agenda isn’t going forward.

Just to stir things up, let me give you a prediction. Bush’s approval numbers will reach the 60s by next summer - you heard it here first. I’ll give reasons for smiles in the next post.

UPDATE III: Heh, Byron York:

“House Democrats went to some lengths over the last several months to avoid sending this message: “Elect us and we’ll have a bitter, internecine leadership battle.” But now they’ve been elected, and they’re about to have a bitter, internecine leadership battle. Not over Speaker Pelosi, but over the position of Majority Leader. A Steny Hoyer-John Murtha battle will expose the deep disagreements in the party, especially on Iraq, that Democrats managed to keep away from center stage during the campaign. In other words: Freed from the responsibilities of the majority, in coming weeks Republicans will have a leadership battle as part of a needed self-examination in the wake of a big defeat. Democrats will have a leadership battle because they will be in power and don’t know what to do.”
