This post will stay on top until the verdict of Saddam is announced later today. Pretty much you can expect a guilty verdict which will result in a public hanging.
The MSM is throwing their usual fear spin into the story by saying that a guilty verdict will turn into chaos in the streets as insurgents rise up to protest.
However, I find it strange that insurgents would be upset, after all the left and the MSM have been telling us for three years that Saddam had nothing to do with terrorists.
UPDATE: Verdict in - Guilty (duh), and he gets the rope. Far from the chaos there is dancing in the streets.
This is funny:
“”Allahu Akbar!” (God is Greatest) and “Long live the nation!”, he shouted, pointing defiantly at the judge as the verdict was delivered.
Looking away in disgust, and then staring angrily back at the judge he continued to shout “Long live the people and death to their enemies. Long live the glorious nation, and death to its enemies!”
Amazing that the “secular dictator” yelled out “Allah Akbar” with a Quran in his hand.
The verdict will now go to a nine judge review, which could take months, and longer is they start getting death threats. Meanwhile prosecutors are going to continue with other charges against Saddam. Either way he on the rope, let’s hope sooner or later.
Good roundups at Gateway Pundit, Michelle Malkin.
