Yet another desperation move on George Allen from the left:

“Senator George Allen, (R) made a campaign stop in Charlottesville Tuesday morning and it was met with controversy.

As Senator Allen was exiting a ballroom, coming to talk to the media, a protestor started yelling and asking, “Why did you spit on your first wife?”. He wasn’t able to get near the senator as he was tackled by three men wearing Allen stickers, presumed to be staffers. He was pushed and manhandled and ended up on the floor, near windows at the Omni.

The man was ultimately removed from the building. Senator Allen went back into a conference room.”

Left wing blogs such as America’s (hrrmpt) Blog are calling this an attack on a “innocent man”!

“You really need to watch this video. The reporter says the man was simply asking questions that the Allen staff thought were rude. So they tackled the guy and threw him against a window. George Allen’s sticker is clearly visible on the guy who grabbed the questioner in a headlock. According to NBC, when Allen was asked later about the assault he replied that stuff like this happens.”

Yeah, and left wing rabid bloggers with a bone for the GOP are everywhere.

I’ve been incredibly busy. Right now I’m working on two more campaign ads (you may have seen the first one - if not, here it is).

I’m also trying to “Roger and Me” George Allen whenever I can. And all of this is on top of a full 1L schedule at UVa…

So yeah… I miss doing this stuff - it seemed that at least once a month, something would happen that really got the adrenaline flowing… I miss those tasty morsels of victory.

But hell… hopefully we’re about to get the main course. Get out and vote Tuesday. Bring ten friends.

Seems Stark had the Allen “stalk” planned for a while.

Stark is also a frequent poster at the Daily Kos.

No doubt Stark is more than just an “innocent observer”.

UPDATE: Typical WAPO bias in reporting the incident. However, the AP gets it right.

Starks ought to be arrested for verbal assault, or at the least for being a flaming dumbass.
