The greatest success of the Bush administration – and in spite of what the left says – there have been many, has been to keep American free from attack for the last five years. This in spite of the fact that he’s had to do it alone, because almost beginning with the fall of WTC Tower 2, the Left in this country have set about to get us another wacking just so they can blame George Bush for it.
The Democrats are beginning to plunge in the polls all across the country simply because the majority of American’s sense that these guys and gals of the Donkey would risk even another attack, or at the least compromise our position so long as it gets them back in power.
Now I’m not talking about healthy debate over the Iraq war – great minds can disagree on the merits of whether or not we should have gone in. But that’s not what the Democratic Game Plame has been at least from some senior and powerful Democrats like Senator Jay Rockefeller. To illustrate lets review some of his behavior.
1. In January of 2002, just months after the attacks on the WTC, Senator “Jay” Rockefeller, a co-chairman on the Senate Intelligence Committee, by his own admisstion visited a rogue state (Syria) to warn them of our plans to Invade Iraq.
” I took a trip by myself in January of 2002 to Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria, and I told each of the heads of state that it was my view that George Bush had already made up his mind to go to war against Iraq ‚Äî that that was a predetermined set course which had taken shape shortly after 9/11.”
2. In 2003, Rockefeller pens a memo that basically outlines what has been the Democratic game plan since we went into Iraq and which also resulted in the slanted and blindfolded SSCI-2 report.
3. In December of 2004 Democratic Senators Dick Durbin, Jay Rockefeller and Ron Wyden leaked details about a secret “black ops” CIA satellite program to the media (an investigation according FBI sources that is still ungoing).
4. In January 2006, Senator Rockefeller gets tripped up in his own lies when through a memo he discusses “concerns” over the NSA survellance program, which tipped investigators looking into who leaked the program to the NY Times – as well as the CIA prison story to the Washinton Post – that Rockefeller may in fact have played a part.
Now Rockefeller isn’t the only Democrat who has deliberately tried to thwart our Nation’s security (Durbin and Wyden mentioned above). As the Plame Game now goes into another phase you will also see why most Democratic pundits want it to go away, for it seems that there may have been more than a little manipulation to “bolster” the game via another Democratic Senator, who seemed to appear whenever Joe Wilson appeared.

1Mac,
I love a mystery as much as the next guy…but we seem to be talking about “Chuckie” here. No?
Something about that jerk makes my hair stand on end whenever he sneers into view behind a microphone (its a toss-up between him and old Carl). I do not envy the DOJ for the enormous job they must do, but DO IT they must! I and millions of other Americans depend on it.
Thanks for the reminder and the update…er…mysterious as it was. LOL!

2And what, praytell, do you make of this? (from Ace of Spades)
NYT Now Advising Reporters On How To Falsify Records In Order To Protect Classified Info Leakers – Ace
One word for this is “cute.”
Another term for it is “a conspiracy to obstruct justice.”
To this end, as the New York Observer reports, the Times is now giving lessons to their reporters on how they can best “dispos[e] of story drafts and [cut] back on telephone and e-mail contact with sources–or us[e] disposable cell phones for important calls.” In addition, New York Times reporter David Barstow has recommended other subterfuges such as “altering Times expense-sheet forms so that a reporter does not have to list the names of sources who have been taken out for lunch or dinner.” Barstow adds that even company e-mail should conveniently disappear in a short time in order to hinder any investigation of who might be leaking secrets to the Times staff.
…..
Are the shredders working overtime as we speak? Is there ANY end to the traitorous betrayal of these people?

3Carol,
I love a mystery too. Anyone that has followed the Plame Game knows Mac is talking about “Chuckie”.
We thought the Dems screamed like stuck pigs when the House Majority Leader John Boehner questioned who the Dems are more interested in protecting, just wait until all this comes to fruition! It is going to make Howie Dean’s scream appear tame! YEAGH!! Grab your popcorn and your peanuts cause it is going to be GOOOOOOOD!!

5Jay Rockefeller: Traitor in the Senate…
Perhaps traitor is too extreme of a word. Oh, wait, what else do you call a sitting U.S. Senator that travels the world warning our enemies of our nefarious plots against them? Traitors, indeed…….
