Hypocrisy is amazing. Muslims are in an uproar because of these comments of Pope Benedict:

“”The emperor comes to speak about the issue of jihad, holy war,” the Pope said.

“He said, I quote, ‘Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached’.”

I’m not Catholic, nor necessarily a fan of The Pope, but I applaud that he has said what needs to be said. Now as usual the mostly ignorant of the Muslim word didn’t read the entirity of the Pope’s speech, which was very long, but the would know that the Pope was simply bringing a needed dialog in order to define “Jihad”.

Of course if I hear one more Muslim try to tell me that “Islam is a religion of Peace”, when the historical facts show otherwise. Mention “The Crusades” and the most often but accepted false stories about them are believed as being true. Yet why do you think they were needed in the first place if not for Muslim agression and force?

Fact is that when your own holy book has 164 verses, discussing Jihad or ‘Holy War” against the “infidels”, and tells them to convert or die, you can’t call that a religion of “peace”.

Islamic fascists who threaten death to anyone who dares to question “The Prophet”, are only showing what really lies beneath the lie they portray.

UPDATE: It’s amazing the attention paid to this story (see The Memeorandum) compared to the sparse cover coverage that Iranian Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spews his hate speech around the world. It’s very telling where they consider their bread to be butted.
