As a mentioned in the Olbermann post below, and after several days of trying to get the Police records of the supposed response to Olbermann’s house to look at the “White Powder”, I’ve run into a problem. No one at the NYPD will confirm that the call to Olby’s pad took place. Have you noticed the lack of coverage on this story? I mean, are we that removed from the “Anthrax scares” of 2001-2002 that other news orgs wouldn’t think it newsworthy?
But it’s weird that the only confirmation of this story is The New York Post’s gossip page and “anonymous sources”, and Olbermann himself.
Radar going wild on this one.
Still checking, but remember Morton Downey?. His false report of a “Skin Head” attack was the beginning of his downfall.

1Mac – In no way do I endorse the Post and their presentation of the incident.
But I think Olbermann may have exagerated the story. And once again, as is his modus operandi – he vilifies Fox in the process. Remember when Fox was allegedly hacking his e-mails? Funny how that was similar to his statement of Fox “reporting the incident as if they knew about it in advance”…
The FBI has not asked the NYT to not report about their incident of recieving white powder in the mailroom – why is Olbermann’s case so important and secretive?
Unless of course, Ann Coulter made good on her threat to send white powder – only she sent it to him instead of the NYT.
